We are truly grateful for this grant and the opportunity it provided. Our Library, over 125 years old, has long had accessibility improvements on its agenda, and it has been a key part of our Strategic Plan. Thanks to this grant, which fully funded the project, we were finally able to install a proper ADA entrance. This improvement has already made a real difference in the lives of our patrons. We cannot thank ARSL and the Manton Foundation enough for supporting this important step in making our Library more accessible. Your funding has turned a long-standing goal into reality, and our community is already reaping the benefits.

The completed paving project was a huge success, making a lasting difference in how our community can access the library’s vital resources. We immediately created a safer, more reliable, and welcoming entrance by successfully stopping the chronic flooding and winter ice that used to scare people off and created safety issues. This work is also a smart, sustainable, long-term fix that cuts down on future maintenance, thanks to new drainage and native landscaping. Best of all, the new lot significantly improved access for the people who needed it most, particularly seniors, who now have reliable access, helping combat isolation. Our patrons are thrilled and have given us overwhelmingly positive feedback, confirming they can now safely and reliably enjoy their community library.
